Business or Company Support
As a supporter of Global Rescue Services, you will know how hard we work to ensure that every penny we raise goes as far as it can. But have you considered spreading the word about us in your place of work? The support of companies can benefit our cause in a number of ways – and businesses can receive a number of benefits by making a charitable donation to causes like ours.
All companies can get tax relief when they give money to UK charities, although the relief works differently for companies, self-employed people and partnerships.
Your place of work can benefit our charity in many ways. For instance, companies can claim corporation tax relief for gifts of land or building, and additionally on items that they make or sell if these items are donated to charity.
There is also the possibility of sponsorship of charitable activities, and if your workplace does not already have a Payroll Giving scheme in place, the costs of setting up a scheme and the modest outgoing costs are deductible for tax purposes.
How about getting your colleagues on board? Around one in five employees work for employers that support schemes for volunteering. If employees volunteer in work time, your company can claim tax relief for the employment costs they continue to incur.
As well as the tax benefits, there is also the benefit of free advertising. Both published advertising on information we produce, and on our website which receives several hundred hits a month from all over the world. There is also the benefit of 'Word of Mouth', considered by some as the most powerful form of advertising. GRS regularly work with other Emergency Services in the UK as well as training teams abroad. Your corporate image or equipment, could be used to support us and help us pass on our life saving skills to others.
If you are interested in supporting GRS, please contact us to arrange a mutually beneficial time for a meeting to discuss this matter.
